Speaker Bio

Rabbi Amichai is a scholar and teacher who lives in Tzfat, Israel. He is the founder & director of LiveKabbalah.com an online school which sequentially teaches authentic, accessible Kabbalah and Chassidut in a clear, down-to-earth and applicable way directly from the source.

Rabbi Amichai was born in Jersusalem Israel, and grew up in the U.S in the modern Orthodox community of Woodmere, N.Y, where he was an early student of Rabbi Moshe Weinberger of Aish Kodesh. He has taught students in various Yeshivot and Seminaries around the world and served as a community rabbi in Boca Raton, Florida. He also holds a Masters degree in Special Education from Touro College, and has taught in the field of Special Education.

Rabbi Amichai is a direct descendant of Moroccan Kabbalists Rabbi Avraham Azulai and Rabbi David Cohen Skali.

Rabbi Amichai is a senior lecturer in Ascent Of Tzfat, where he has facilitated lectures and workshops to thousands of students from all over the world including hundreds of Taglit/Birthright groups. Rabbi Amichai brings a unique and fresh perspective on the deeper aspects of Judaism, current events and personal growth.
